On May 16, 2015 Eden Sonsona fought Adrian Estrella at Auditorio Miguel Barragan, San Luis Potosi, San Luis Potosí, Mexico for the vacant WBC International Silver super featherweight title

Eden Sonsona started the first round landing a right hook and Estrella’s gloves touches the canvas which should be ruled as a knock down but referee ruled it as a slip.
Sonsona throws haymaker punches but Estrella manage to duck some of them, The taller Estrella uses jabs to keep Sonsona from distance. Estrella landed a right hand that stunned Sonsona but the Filipino fighter takes it well and answered but which wild punches.
Estrella landed combination to end the first round.
Round 2 begins both fighter in the center of the ring and traded punches Eden Sonsona landed a perfectly timed right hook to the jaw that sent down Estrella to the canvas head first. Adrian Estrella unable to to beat the count.
This is one of the biggest boxing upsets as Adrian Estrella the Mexican prospect was expected to trash Eden Sonsona, Estrella previously beaten quality opponents like Celestino Caballero he was unbeaten fighter and has the height and reach advantage and also the punching power Estrella knockouts 20 of his 22 wins or KO% 90.91 while Sonsona only have 11 knock outs in his 33 wins or KO% 26.83 with all the advantage the Estrella has it did not stop Sonsona to try to win the fight. Sonsona just needed to land that one right hook and the fight is over.
