Omar Andres Narvaez fought  Naoya Inoue on December 30, 2014 at Metropolitan Gym, Tokyo, Japan for the WBO World super flyweight title

The fight only lasted  two rounds

Round 1 Inoue started the fight strong with powerful punch combinations to the head and body of Narvaez, Ionue throws a Hard right hand that sent Narvaez down for the first time in the fight, Inoue continues the relentless attacks with left and right combo, another hard right landed for Inoue down goes Narvaez again for the second time delayed reaction, Narvavez survived the round and engage to a toe to toe battle in the dying seconds of the round.

Round 2 Both fighters stands in the middle of the ring, Inoue landing the harder punches, but Narvaez takes them well and landed his own punches, Inoue uses his height and reach advantage jabbing Narvaez then sets up his power punches, Inoue landed a counter left hook that sent down Narvaez again for the 3rd time of the fight, Inoue press the action sensing that Narvaez is hurt he continue the attack but Narvaez stayed there and still throwing his shots, with 22 seconds remaining in the round Inoue landed a hard left hook to the body down goes Narvaez for the 4th time in the fight, Narvaez unable to beat the count.
