Darleys Perez was knocked out by Colombia’s Anthony Crolla in the fifth round of the fight,to win the WBA lightweight title in Manchester.After 4 intense rounds,Crolla hit Perez with a nasty left hook to the body after which he couldn’t recover and didn’t make to the 10 count.Crolla had the home crowd advantage.Out of his 37 fights crolla has 30 with 12 knockouts.Perez also didn’t gave up easily,both were hitting nasty blows,but it was Crolla the man with the upperhand.They 2 had a fight previously in july,which ended up in a draw.

The 29 year fractured skull almost 12 months ago while confronting burglars,he also suffered a broken ankle,but that didn’t kept Crolla away from fighting,as he recovered quickly to capture the WBA title.There were speculations going around about this classic fixture in which Crolla proved to be one of the top lightweights in fighting.
