January this year Mark Magsayo scored an upset win against the best in the Featherweight Division Gary Rusell Jr while Rey Vargas moves up in weight and beat Leonardo Baez, Vargas has not scored a knockout since 2016 while Magsayo who started his career at Featherweight has scored 16 knockouts in his 24 wins. Rey Vargas got the height reach and championship experience but Magsayo got the edge in punching power
