January 16, 2016 Deontay Wilder vs. Artur Szpilka at Barclays Center, Brooklyn, New York for the WBC World heavyweight title
Deontay Wilder vs. Artur Szpilka Fight Replay

Deontay Wilder once again victorious with a come from behind Knock Out win, Wilder needed only to land one punch to end the fight.
It was a tough fight for Wilder as Szpilka dominated him in the earlier rounds, Szpilka uses head movement and ring generalship to confuse Wilder, Szpilka landed more punches and even wobbled Wilder in several occasions, The Bronze Bombmer unable to solve Szpilka’s southpaw stance but he was able to adjust and found a way to land these hard right hands.

The end comes in the 9th round when Wilder caught Szpilka coming forward with a counter right hand to the jaw, Szpilka was knocked out cold and unconscious for several minutes. Artur was bought to the hospital with a stretcher. This will gonna be listed as one of the most dangerous one punch knockouts on 2016 and it could be a candidate for the knock out of the year/

In my opinion Szpilkas was winning the fight on points until the moment he got Knocked Out. Deontay Wilder improves his record to 36 wins and 35 of these wins are by Knock outs.

After the fight Tyson Fury was there to put some drama and try to steal the show as he storms the ring and demand a fight.
Fury challenged Wilder to a bout as the pair exchanged insults during the post-fight interview wilder

Wilder responded: ‘We all know Fury, you are just a phony, this is just an act. You know where I am, you know what time, you know what place, I ain’t scared of nobody, I’ll come to your back yard.’

Tyson Fury said:
‘Any time! Any place! Anywhere. I’ll fight you in your back garden.’

‘Like I did Klitschko, I’ll beat you, ya bum, You’re a bum.’

Wilder:‘I would love to fight him next. Unfortunately I have other mandatories due. Make the date Tyson, I promise you.’

In an interview Wilder said that he will give no mercy if the fight with Fury happens.

If this fight happen its going to be a big event two undefeated heavyweights that can punch. This might happen in the end of the 2016 as both fighters has prior commitments to date Wilder has his mandatory challenger while Fury will probably fight Vladimir Klitschko in a rematch.

Undefeated Luis Ortiz who scored a knocked out victory against Bryant Jennings last December might be a good match-up for Deontay Wilder
