Johnriel Casimero fought Armando Santos on December 13, 2014 at Salón Las Palmas, Pesqueria, Nuevo León, Mexico for the IBF Flyweight title Eliminator

Casimero started 1st round very busy, he landed combinations and he was the agressor at the dying seconds of the round Casimero landed a left hook that sent the Mexican down.

In round two Casimero attacks Santos with right left combination to the body and head, a left uppercut landed and Armando goes down again for the second time in the fight. Santos unable to continue the referee stops the fight.

Johnriel Casimero won via 2nd round TKO, with this performance Casimero send a message to champions of Flyweight division, Roman “Chocolatino” Gonzalez and Juan Francisco Estrada are the top champions of this weight class, in Casimero’s previews fight with Fuentes which he won by TKO, Johnriel express the interest of fighting Juan Franciso Estrada to determine who is the best in the division. Estrada won his previous fight against another Filipino fighter Joebert Alvarez by Unanimous Decision while Roman Gonzalez won by TKO against Ala Fighter Rocky Fuentes
