Once Again Manny Pacquiao the one and only boxing’s 8 weight division champion proved that he is not done yet with boxing, after beating American boxer Adrien “The Problem” Broner in a 12 round bout for the World Boxing Association World Welterweight Title.
It was a chess match from the start and a very tactical fight. both boxers are waiting for who will commit mistake first.
Adrien Broner did have his moments when he landed clean counter punch that caught Pacquiao’s attention. but in every punch Broner landed Pacquiao always have an answer, Pacquiao also targetted the body more in this fight hoping to slow down his slick challenger.
In the sevent round Pacquiao landed and hard left that landed Right in the kisser, Broner wobbled and almost went down but he manage to grab on the ropes and regain his balance and survived the round, Broner have a granite chin, these are power shots from Pacquiao but he took it well.
Judge Dave Moretti scored 117-111, Glenn Feldman scored it 116-112 and judge Tim Cheatham scored it 116-112 All in favor for Manny Pacquiao.
Manny Pacquiao was clearly the more aggressive fighter tonight, landing a 112 punches out of 568 thrown. 30 of those landed were jabs, 82 were power punches.
While Adrien Broner landed just 50 punches from 295 thrown. 11 were jabs, and 39 were power punches.
But with the huge difference in punch output Broner still believed he won the fight.

Adrien Broner said: “I beat him. I controlled the fight. He was missing, I hit him clean more times. I beat him.”
Manny Pacquiao: “I proved in my last fight against Matthysse and now I proved it again. The Manny Pacquiao journey will still continue,”
“I wanted to push more, but my trainer said ‘Don’t be careless. Wait for him, counter,’ and that’s what I did.
Who’s next for Manny Pacquiao?
Pacquiao is interested in a rematch with Floyd Mayweather, Floyd was asked the question if he will accept the challenge of Pacquiao but he did not respond.
Another option for Pacquiao is the winner of Errol Spence Jr vs Mikey Garcia, Or a fight with Keith Thurman is possible.
