The battle of two undefeated champions ended in a controversial win in Favor of the Cuban Master boxer Guillermo Rigondeaux.
In the dying second of the very first round Rigondeaux was holding and hitting Flores then the referee tried to break them apart but Rigondeaux was able to sneak in a left punch which resulted to a knock down.

After Flores got hit by that left right after the bell the Mexican goes down and acted like he was knocked out cold.
It was a punch after the bell which be also be a no contest or disqualification loss for Rigondeaux.

But in the end referee Vic Drakulich called it a knock out in favor of Guillermo Rigondeaux.
