Round 1 Ortiz started to jab the taller Thompson, Thompson keeps his distance and uses his jabs to country Luis
Less than a minute remaining in the round Ortiz landed a hard left hand to the head of Thompson and sent him down, Thompson beats the count continue the fight.

Round 2
Thompson continue to move around keeps his distance but he was unable to land hard punch that could give Ortiz some trouble.

Round 3
Ortiz started the round landing his hard left Thompson continued to use his jab and landed some combination but these shots doesn’t seems to trouble Ortiz.
Ortiz targeted the head and body of Thompson, with few seconds remaining in the round Ortiz landed another hard left to the temple of Thompson. Thompson once again beat the count and got saved by the bell.

Round 4
Thompson uses land left jab to keep Ortiz from distance but Luis continue to attack the head and body of Thompson, The challenger just don’t have the power to give Ortiz some trouble.

Round 5
Ortiz started the round with double right jab, body shot and right hook. Thompson continue to move back but not throwing enough to win a round. Thompson landed a right hand but Ortiz just walk right thru it,
Thompson survived another round.

Round 6

Ortiz started the round with a quick jab then he landed hard left to the head of Thompson, Thompson moves around and throw some jabs but thes punches are not effective enough to stop Ortiz from charging forward, Thompson landed a lefthand but Ortiz countered him with harder left to the head.

With 44 seconds remaining left in the round six Luis Ortiz landed a hard left to the right side of Thompson’s head, Thompson goes down and referee counted him out of the fight.
