Yuriorkis Gamboa, 24-1-(17), returned to the ring for the first time since losing to WBO lightweight champion Terrence Crawford Saturday night at the Plaza de Toros in Cancun, Quintana Roo, Mexico by defeating Joel Montes de Oca, 18-4-(10), via sixth round knockout.
Montes de Oca was was decked twice before the fight was waved off after 1:13.
